when cycling--as well as linking to various gps fitness apps, so I would think so.. I don't know what the "smart" designation specifies with respect to your intended purpose.

I had my son pair his LG phone to my glucose meter OK but unable to pair the iPhone.

4. Under "Settings", "Bluetooth" is the 3rd item on the list. It's an On or Off toggle switch.

If you configure any devices to work with it , they will be listed on the Bluetooth screen. Look here:

5. Evidently the iPhone 5s has Bluetooth Smart-I don't know why it can't pair to my meter

I just checked Wahoo specs on the 2 devices that do pair OK and both are ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart. So I guess I would be OK with the Stages Power Meter.
