How to connect to a website that insists it works only with Windows' Internet Explorer?

Every now and then we encounter a client that wants us to connect to their FTP or similar site with Internet Explorer. We all have Parallels and obviously have IE. But since we're an all Mac shop, few of us have Windows fired up. We only use it, kicking and screaming, when we are forced to run Revit.

And when someone insists we connect to their archaic website with IE. Today I was asked to connect to one that wanted IE 4.0 and some early version of Netscape Navigator! What are they running? Windows 95????

Anyway, does anyone know a way to connect to such sites with Safari or or other modern Mac browser?

tell the folks doing the programming work to DO THEIR DAMN JOB, and update the damn thing already!
IE 4 is SIXTEEN years old! Ask them if you can use Lynx, if their program is that damn old! (google lynx web browser)
If I couldn't connect with a more modern web browser, I would personally inform them that I could assist them with their upgrade... for a price, of course.
