My iPhone5 contacts now includes every fucking email address that ever existed.

IIRC, up until the last update, when I went to contacts the only ones listed were those I created or imported.

Now it appears that every email address has been automatically added to my contacts list.

Anyone else having this problem?

Any suggested advice about how to get it back the way I liked it?

I don't remember changing that setting to include contacts from email and other sources, but it sure pissed me off.

All is well now.

I'll leave this up in case others have the same issue.

You may want to consider some control over the birth of new emails. There are various morning after programs that can offer some assistance, although at least one religious group and several governmental organizations are looking to remove that form of assistance.

Of course, you could abort the whole process and start a new, with far more parental controls over your data.
