Once when I had a problem with my Mac Mini, I researched how to open it in "Safe Mode" which allows you to try to fix whatever is causing the problem. Worked well for me. Just something to remember.

I assume youve tried PassKey to autogenerate your password and recovery mode.
Just call Apple support and they will walk you through resetting PW.
Theyre quite helpful!
