Did I miss a scheduled maintenance announcement last night?

I got a 503 error message and was unable to see DU content. It was about 11:30 pm to 12:15 a.m. October 10, 2024.
Isitdownrightnow.com said it was down for everyone. Solar flare issue?

2. My phone played streaming media all night without disruption

Any disruption would have stopped it. I don’t usually run stuff on my phone all night, but I wanted to see whether the solar flares would affect electronics on earth. This morning, the program was running, which I took as a good sign. Neither satellite nor cell phones lost connectivity. As you might guess, I’m kinda on alert today with all that plasma whizzing past.

6. I skimmed back through Latest, saw no long gaps between new threads, but did see a GD thread about it

posted at 11:33 CT by someone who said it had just cleared up, and some else in that thread said they'd run into the problem a couple of hours earlier.

7. I got a message that site could not be found -- but also happened with all other sites.

My mom's computer had no problems, so I closed my connection, then reopened it, and it worked fine after that. I took it to be a network connection gone bad. I'm in CST zone, are you in PST ? If not, mine was unrelated, because it was closer to 2AM CST.
