What do you call this menu that pops up when you long press a word or phrase?
The reason I ask is because all of a sudden it's giving "Bing" and "Office Note" as options now. I never use Bing. When I click the 3 dots "Web Search" and "Select All" are there, but I want those 2 choices back on the menu thingy without having to use the extra clicking of the 3 dots. Is there a way to edit the preferences of this menu. I would try to Google this question but I don't know the proper name for it. 🤔
Thank you

(14,052 posts)Apple gives me a "scrolling" kind of menu when I make a selection. See below.
I don't think it's possible to modify what actions are available when you make a selection. Just my limited knowledge.
The "share" sheet does vary, and you can alter those.

(14,052 posts)Once again, I think that whatever actions are available from a text selection are wired by the OS, and alterable only when an update shows up.
FWIW, the results you get with DuckDuckGo are basically Bing results.
DDG just doesn't keep track of searches past the day.

(18,151 posts)That looks to me like a phone or tablet context menu.
PS. The words you're searching for are 'Search engine'.

(22,635 posts)Not the worst problem in the world but I'd like to be able to edit the preferences of this menu.
Thanks
