Outlook suddenly changed my email display and I cannot change it back.

Just need it to be displayed by date and this does not work:

In a web browser, sign in to Outlook Web App using the URL provided by the person who manages email for your organization. Enter your user name and password, and then select Sign in.

At the top of the page, select Settings Settings: update your profile, install software and connect it to the cloud > Options.

In the Options pane, select Settings.

There is nothing there for sorting emails by date. Thanks.

So today, I saw something to the side of the emails that said received and clicked it and now back to normal. Thanks DUers for your help as usual.

If so, there should be a filter button in the right, and a drop down from there to select 'date'.

column header and it resorts itself. Very useful when I need to sort by sender or organization and then go back to date.

Can you do something like that?

Just click the Received header and it will toggle between oldest to newest, or newest to oldest.

1. Login to https://outlook.live.com/ through the web browser.

2. On the right side, click on the dropdown menu next to All and select Date under Sort By. You emails will now get sorted according to the date.
