Anyone know how I can post a giphy still image or video? I read on DU that only YouTube or

Vimeo links will work to embed the image into the post. I had tried with the embed and the copy link at giphy. Didn’t work. But now I see someone did it! Asking how would hijack the thread, so
asking here.

1. Here you go....

For pictures you need to get image address...depending on where you are there different ways.

First go to website...I like Giphy, but you can do the same thing on other sites

My Biden giphy was already pulled up...but you could search for what you want.

Next hit Media..you will see four choices. I use 'small' and 'source'

copy the code and post on DU reply. I always test it with a preview...and it should work fine...for tables and such, I use Imgur (I have no relationship with Giphy or Imgur and do not endorse them) which is a great app. PM if you have any trouble.

2. Ah. I used to use Imgur, but didn't realize they had Biden gifs or any as was uploading my own

dog photos for a rescue shelter. Good. Also good instructions and thanks 😊 so much!

3. If you get the app you can copy just about anything...you hit the icon and then there is a plus sign

and you drag over the area you want...it copies it to the clipboard and all you do is paste it into the reply...don't even have to go to imgur.
