No longer have option to copy link to Tweet

Today, I no longer have an option to copy a link to a tweet. It used to show up with the drop down menu but now, this is what my options are:

https://www.screencast.com/t/RG3YNAFtge

Doesn't matter which account I'm trying to link to, so I don't think it's privacy settings.

1. You do still have the option, but it's become a bit more tricky

Click on "embed tweet". It will take you to a new tab. Then the screen automatically scrolls down to the tweet again. But if you scroll up to the top of the new tab you will find the familiar link.

I go to the tweet in my web browser, copy the full URL in the address bar and paste in my post.

It seemed to work.

Edit to Add: I have not looked at this on my Android yet.

They will improve the app later I guess.

You are welcome.

Honestly, I didn't understand that embed does pretty much the same thing. Except the link is a whole lot longer and it opens a new window and requires more clicks... I suppose that long link has value for some..

Some nosing around on the Web seems to indicate that which Twitter Web interface you get depends on a cookie. The previous interface had features I used that don't exist on the one that is presented to me now.

I also note that I can no longer browse Twitter without logging in. I'm guessing that is a cookie too.

I feel a Luddite rant coming on.
