Windows 10 Sends Your Activity History to Microsoft, Even if You Tell It Not To
Windows 10 collects an Activity History of applications you launch on your PC and sends it to Microsoft. Even if you disable or clear this, Microsofts Privacy Dashboard still shows an Activity History of applications youve launched on your PCs.
This problem was recently discussed on Reddit, and its pretty easy to confirm. Head to Settings > Privacy > Activity History and disable Send my activity history to Microsoft. It was already disabled on our PC, so it made this easy to test.

(4,481 posts)Windows 10s aggressive data-collection capabilities may concern users about corporate spying, but enterprises have control that ------__consumer-edition Windows users do not------: Administrators can decide how much information gets sent back to Microsoft.
But enterprises need to think twice before turning off Windows telemetry to increase corporate privacy. Thats because doing so can decrease the effectiveness of Windows 10s security features.

The bastards took away my Solitaire games last week, which I had played thousands of times. The version they offer now is a worthless piece of garbage, presumably designed by a 10 year old. I have been all over the internet these past few days trying to find a way to get the old version back. I am furious and am now advising everyone I know to never buy a microsob product ever again.
