Free e-book: "Troubleshooting and Maintaining Your PC All-in-One For Dummies", 3rd Edition
It's normally $16. If you IT people think this is a bad idea, I will self-delete this offer.

You go to that link above and click "Download Now". It might force you to look at some offers, and, as far as I
know, you can just ignore all the offers and just download the book for free. It is from Wiley books, which is a
reputable publisher. They will ask for your email address and then you see this message:
An email has just been sent to you with a link and information to get access to the eBook. To ensure delivery of our messages, please add "@tradepub.com" to your Safe Senders List. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder and mark it as "not spam".
Your link to download the book will be in your email. You can hover your mouse pointer over the link and you will see it's from
"makeuseof.tradepub.com/more_stuff_that_includes_your_email_address" I regarded the link as safe, clicked it and got the e-book downloaded. Normally, of course, the standard advice is not to click anything in emails, which is great advice. This particular email got to you because you requested it and the sender is valid.
Of course, if you have any doubt whatsoever about the download, virus and malware scan it. I get newsletters
all the time from MakeUseOf so I have no worries about it, but, yes, scan it if you have any concerns.
Hope this helps a few.
Steve
