Great basic-to-intermediate Microsoft Windows site: Winhelp.us (done by an Estonian IT guy)
https://www.winhelp.us/index.phpThis guy, Margus Saluste , has produced a really excellent site that explains really well in basic terms so many basic and intermediate concepts in Windows. I've only found one error so far (about the 2017 Windows Assessment tool, no biggie). Otherwise, it's wonderful. Check it out.
( http://winaero.com/blog/windows-experience-index-wei-windows-10/ is a good site for the current Windows Experience Index aka Windows Assessment tool. Also https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb530740(v=vs.85).aspx )

I use a very old laptop (which I prefer to my Mac) and have not been able to download windows updates or repair corrupt files for months.
Guess what I can do now thanks to your link!
