Any ideas? I bought a small planter at a local yard sale. The 2 of the 3 pots on tray are glued to

the oval base. One was loose and I was able to detach it from the pottery base. The other 2 seem to be glued like iron. I tried to boil the pots and tray, then tried paint remover to loosen the glue. No luck.
Any ideas how I can un-glue the other 2 pots from the tray. What will dissolve the old glue?

1. I have been told to use nail polish remover

for super glue. I don't know if that works on all glue, but it would be something that I would try.

You can also try heat or cold. I have a garden decoration that is glued together, and I was warned by the woman who made it that the glue will not tolerate freezing. And I have heard that heat and water can be used on super glue.

Any of these would be worth a try.

2. I've also had good luck with nail polish remover

It has to be the acetone kind.
