Hi all,
My first post here. I need to bleach some whites. I've never done this before. Yes, I could go google but I'd rather someone(s) hold me by the hand a bit. What do I need to know so I don't ruin my clothes ? Thank you very much in advance!
Steve
On edit: Do I use hot water, cold water, or lukewarm for best results ?

(21,068 posts)It likely won't do much good and will damage the fabric.
As for COTTONS (specifically), fill machine with water and add about 1/2 c. bleach and then add the clothes.
Proceed as per usual.
You should not have any problems unless you spill the bleach on something.
Best of luck!

(6,133 posts)I do cotton whites with it in hot water. The amount used is so small it doesn't matter. I use it to clean the toilet bowl. Sometimes the old use cleaners are the best.
