Will Your Vote Count? Really? Think Again....

The American People are being screwed, lied to, and robbed at every turn. Every single major thing our government does is for the benefit of our "owners" in Bush's "ownership society" if you haven't noticed. The 1%. The Oligarchs.

Now when it comes to voting, do you think the 1% just sits back and lets the elections unfold without influencing the "counting" of the votes, the most important thing?

Really? I don't.

The whole voting/counting system is closed, secret, and completely unverifiable in most of America on purpose.

It is secret so it can be rigged. Obviously.

So, do you really thing your vote will count?

If we can extremely accurately count the money every day we can count the votes every once in a while.
The fact that there is any question about this at all is proof of what you have stated.
In our nation MONEY is more important than votes.

the bank's computers may dispense the money, but the teller COUNTS IT IN FRONT OF YOU BY HAND AND THEN LETS YOU DO THE SAME!

If people want to spend jillions on these shiny machines, fine. It's sort of like shaving with a chain saw but if you just can't do without a shiny machine, at least AUDIT EVERY RACE by COUNTING 5% OF THE VOTE IN RANDOMLY CHOSEN PRECINCTS BY HAND to make sure it's statistically valid to at least a 90% level of certainty. And if the audit doesn't square with the machine count, RECOUNT EVERY VOTE BY HAND and put the perpetrators of the miscount, whether ES&S or Dominion or whatnot behind bars.

It would only have to happen once and elections would suddenly become very very different. The "red tilt" would disappear overnight.

if the vote is counted in total secrecy without verification, YOU CAN'T HAVE A DEMOCRACY. It's as simple as that.

The fact that the dems never talk about this tells you who's in charge. The two parties are playing good cop/bad cop with us while the 1% hollow out the country.

What a great way to put it.

This destruction is almost at an end though, thank god.

They will do all they can to stop the "democracy" movement.

They won't be successful.

It is our turn......

We are the most populated state, heavily Democratic, very progressive in areas yet we are pushed to the end of the primary process. Conservative Dems in Alabama have more influence in our candidate selection that we do. Intentional? Of course, and it pisses me off greatly.

gerrymandering and voter suppression laws. All completely legal and above board. Why would they bother with rigging the system illegally when they are doing it right out in the open?

I live in a democratic country, it is probably counted in election for the party to win. After election, there will be a gap of two days to start the counting. Recently, Assembly election has been conducted for the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Puducherry, and Assam. As I belongs to Tamil Nadu, I am eagerly waiting for the result, who will win in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Election? Here is the live updates of the result about the count and the winning party who is going to rule the state government. You can also track the constituency state of all the countries and also in statewise.
