Every day we will hear about one more bribery attempt/success by a Clinton Foundation Donor.
Get ready folks.....
How did I miss the Uranium One deal?

I am not saying the Foundation doesn't do good things. It just represents how pay to play appears to work.
And it doesn't look good.
Of course the press ignores it.

(1,400 posts)I think that is a little better story, unless you support bribery.

(1,400 posts)Telling the truth has nothing to do with the GOP.
I love it how the "Clinton Folks" claim all attacks on Hillary's "character" is GOP sleaze.
Sorry Charlie.
You better take a long hard look at your candidate, and ask yourself if she can be bought.
Millions of Americans have come to a different conclusion than her "followers".
$500,000 for one speech by a bank wanting a uranium deal. Insane.

"Amid this influx of Uranium One-connected money, Mr. Clinton was invited to speak in Moscow in June 2010, the same month Rosatom struck its deal for a majority stake in Uranium One.
The $500,000 fee among Mr. Clintons highest was paid by Renaissance Capital, a Russian investment bank with ties to the Kremlin that has invited world leaders, including Tony Blair, the former British prime minister, to speak at its investor conferences."
Deal With It.....

(3,040 posts)But truth telling is not dung flinging. These are serious concerns that could be fatal to the Hillary campaign -- especially given the anti establishment atmosphere on both sides of the political spectrum.
The truth isn't a smear campaign -- it is relevant journalism.
But, go ahead and yell some non-sequitur anti Bernie memes.

(38,437 posts)The flow of rank lies is endless. Not blaming you for them, but to deny their existence ...

(1,400 posts)But I am sure that is fine with all the Hillary Fans.
They appear to love a candidate that will do nothing to get money out of politics, and stop pay to play.
I mean god, it has made said candidate filthy rich.
Here's one.

How many more? Who knows. Our wonderful press is some of the largest contributors......

(1,400 posts)A couple google searches gives Republicans a year's worth of ammunition.
The problem is the whole system sucks, and everyone knows it.
Prepare for the onslaught if she is the nominee.
It will be brutal, and probably mostly true.

(23,730 posts)lest we "throw the election" by bringing up the fact that a candidate's behaved immorally--ironically leaving it entirely unprotected when the Republicans start hitting them

(1,400 posts)No wonder half of the people don't bother to vote.
MisterP
(23,730 posts)to, do anything to, break any promise to, and they'll still vote: enough grumblers will still turn out out of fear of a GOP win and the political system can get by on 40% of the electorate
