I always give in an election year and after the nominations but I'm getting so fucking sick of the sms messaging this year

Much more and and I'm deleting, blocking and going to act blue and telling them to fucking remove me.

I’ve participated in some polls and surveys that in the end, always circle back to excessive donation requests, which is off-putting…..

2. They went the corporate spam route

So I stopped completely. Clear out some spam periodically even after getting off the lists. They know they need to do better and stop guilting and shaming, it’s a terrible look and I suspect the people who got it into place know that… its not actually pro-Democratic party to support that. People will get whiffs of corruption and groupthink and back away.

4. I stopped donating because of the hounding for more.

The candidate continued to email and call asking for more.

I also donated through actblue and they shared my name with every other dem running. So many requests for more money.

Enough. I stopped donating to anyone.

If only there was a do not share option.

That's the only reason we kept an inexpensive home phone #.

7. I don't want to bullied, shamed, hounded, or anything else

There are sooooo many people and similarly named organizations asking that I’ve stopped too. They were told to do better last election cycle. They aren’t.
I’m also super unhappy with requests from out of state. It should be illegal to request or volunteer funds from out of jurisdiction, period. What’s the difference between Ohioan money in a California race and Russian in a federal race?

8. Same here I just delete any e-mail or text. I trash the snail mail. I am not sending money to

support some out of state politician. I gave nearly $400 to the Biden campaign in 2020 so I am on a
sucker list now. A friend of mine died a few years, they requested we make donations to the local Urban
Mission so I gave $50. Next thing I know I am getting mail from every charity in the country and the Urban Mission
never received one more penny. I don't mind giving but not if they are going to sell my address.

That’s worked for me.

I get emails from Gallego because I choose to and enjoy getting texts from Joe.

Just takes a couple of seconds.
