Colin Allred in 2024.
Will Colin Allred and Roland Guitteriez run for Governor or John Cornyn’s US Senate seat in 2026 if they don’t defeat Cruz?

3. It is disappointing. Texas isn't red or blue, it's non-voting.

Only 22% of possible voters actually vote. I had hoped that would change after Roe's demise but the voting mix didn't change at all from '16 to '20. Other issues are that Democrats don't run in so many races, we just hand it to Rs, voter suppression and voter fatigue. You can only lose so many times before you just give up.

I hope the candidates we do have will keep at it regardless of the seat. There's a balance between name recognition and 'he a loser'.
