Is Sherrod Brown going to be the longest serving US Senator from OH?

Sherrod Brown has been in the US Senate for 18 years when we get to 2024. OH US Senators that have been in the US Senate for more than 18 years is John Glenn and Howard Metzenbaum. OH US Senators that have been in the US Senate for 18 years are
Benjamin Wade(1851-1869)
If Sherrod Brown gets re-elected in 2024 and completes his term, he will be the longest US Senator from OH right behind John Glenn(one of the greatest OH US Senators).

and is continuing to come up with more voter suppression laws. Hopefully Brown can hang on but it won't be easy.

But I saw how the inexperienced “hillbilly” Vance won the senate race just because he kissed rumps ass and it doesn’t give me much encouragement….

He cheated in plain sifpght to make sure he and his thugs remained in power.

But I do not absolve the Democrats. They did not do one thing to help Ryan. I made sure I let the Ohio party know how I felt. They knew I was disappointed. I made clear I was more than disappointed!

The only thing we can hope is that JD claims he loves Ohio so much he will work with Dems like Portman did..

I really thought Vance would go down. The fact this nutjob won this seat is a political "tell" for what is happening in Ohio.

Landsman unseated Chabot in the OH-1 CD based in Cincinnati.
Sykes won Ryan’s US House seat in OH-13 based in Akron.

Happy to have been one of his constituents and part of campaigns that helped get him elected.
Volunteered on several elections whil living in Ohio. Sherrod lived in the same community and frequented campaign headquarters and always interacted with everyone.

Promising to answer my questions when he has time. Follows through.

I would like for him to run for Governor, but we need him in the Senate. Actually flew back to DC to cast the deciding vote for the ACA!

Maybe Ryan can run. DeWine lost to Sherrod.

But the Ohio House elected a very moderate Speaker to the House with Democratic help over a far right guy Republicans had voted for.
