It's probably going to be Sarbanes, because he's got the name recognition. Jamie is now the top Dem on the Oversight Committee, so he may prefer to stay in the House.

Angela Alsobrooks is my County Executive. She's done a good job, but considering it's PG County, "not being corrupt" is a good County Executive.

Other people in the mix would be Mark Elrich from MoCo, Dutch Ruppersberger from Baltimore County, and Calvin Ball, who's the Howard County Executive.

He is from the Greater Baltimore Area while Raskin,Trone, and Alsobrooks are from the Washington DC Metro Area.
Sarbanes has been in serving in the US House since 2007 longer than Raskin,Mfume,Trone, and Ivey but not longer than Hoyer and Ruppersberger. Hoyer,Ruppersberger and Mfume are too old to be freshman US Senators.
Sarbanes US House successor is likely to be Jon Cardin-Ben Cardin’s nephew, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball III. All of Howard County is in MD-3. State Senator Clarence Lam- state senate district is based in Howard and Baltimore County.
