the repubs all seem like solid winners in any kind of close election.

we need a presidential candidate with coat tails, and we need to put some money into these races, but most important we need solid, charismatic candidates who may be able to bring in voters for our presidential candidate.

The outcome for the Alabama Senate seat would likely be the same as before. I hate to see a scumbag like him thrust into the limelight, although his heavily toxic baggage causes many who might otherwise vote auto-Republican to think twice.
