UK GDP & Disability Disaster - Joe Blogs
In this video I discuss the ongoing crisis in the UK. The GDP figures for January 2025 reveal that the Economy contracted by 0.1% which will put even more pressure on the UK government. The actual growth achieved by the UK Economy since the October Budget is significantly lower than originally forecast by the OBR and as a result UK tax receipts are lower than forecast leaving the UK with a cash crisis. The UK government is now facing the prospect of either increasing taxes or cutting spending. The first round of spending cuts have now been announced and surprisingly they are targeting Health and Disability payments.
