Lets face it, BJs propaganda machine of bollocks is marketing a simple if somewhat moronic message that is resonating with leavers who have had it with three years of prevarication. We leave come what may and if it is a no deal then it is the EUs fault
( very handy when you think of the shitstorm clouds that will gather very quickly).
In contrast there is no clear leader for either remain or Brexit-on-Terms and at this point the idea of a unity government is farcical. Can anyone yet articulate Labours position on Brexit? Right now, all it looks like to me is a hard-left push to take control without an election. And quite frankly the democratic deficit that we have all felt with the hard right taking control without an election, seeing it happen again in a matter of weeks would be, I fear, put at risk the parliamentary and democratic conventions that have made and kept us as the oldest modern democracy on the planet.
So here we have it. Three years on and we are witness to a united Brexit team, with very clear messaging (however much we do not like the message!), and a fragmented Remain movement, with no clear narrative that is easy to articulate. Gotta tell you chaps this does not auger well. We have about three weeks to make any moves that need to be made
.

(9,685 posts)It used to be we would always have at least 2 months worth in the Fridge, now he gets strictly enough for one month as the stocks are low. The government is stockpiling.
We are already working out how we can purchase privately in EU and ship it across. It will cost a fortune, but the alternative is unthinkable and we are fortunate that we can afford to do it. For more economically vulnerable people I fear things are going to be much worse.
