There is a majority in parliament that can block a no deal Brexit. However there is no majority to pass the deal that exists. The EU states that they won't change the deal.

My belief is that BoJo is going to prepare for a no deal Brexit and push it through with all kinds of delaying tactics to circumvent parliament. The judiciary hasn't weighed in. Sir John Major has already stated that he will sue the government if BoJo prorogues parliament so that there is no time to prevent a no deal Brexit.

So no certainty yet, but signs point more toward no deal Brexit.

It's not enough to pass a motion telling Johnson to not do it; they need legislation, which would need to be drawn up and sent through the whole parliamentary procedure - not by a government, but a coalition that would be made up of many parties (and, presumably, including some Tory MPs who have either resigned the whip or been chucked out of the party).

They'd all have to stick together through that. I don't think Johnson will have to prorogue parliament (and, it seems, the deadline for a vote of no confidence to force an election before Oct 31st has passed, because the summer recess has started).
