Related: About this forumGeorge Galloway criticised after giving backing to Nigel Farage's Brexit Party in European elections
George Galloway isn't a name that you hear very often anymore, which is probably for the best.
The former MP and Celebrity Big Brother contestant has become something of an obscure figure in the current political climate, spearheading those on the left who support Brexit - or as it has come to be known, 'Lexit'.
With the prospect of leaving the EU anytime soon looking as likely as watching Game of Thrones without it being spoilt, Galloway has controversially offered his support to Nigel Farage's newly formed Brexit Party, who will be contesting next month's European elections.
In a tweet, the former Labour party member said that he had made the decision based on some Labour MPs opposition to Brexit and the referendum result.

Strange bedfellows - but it somehow seems inevitable that this happened

Galloway has gone so far left that he's ended up on the other side of the political fence with the likes of Farage.
I have seen this happen with other left wing Brexshitters. It was quite weird to see during the referendum when you would see members of the Socialist Party talking about how nice UKIP members are before slating everyone else on the left!

I have called Galloway 'the Farage of the Far Left' for some time, but had no idea how accurate I was being!
