Our PJK was a master of the cutting putdown, and Question Time was lots of fun with him.

one of them says that has to be number 1 of classic pieces of Australian political history.

And also musical history - there was a highly successful stage show called "Keating - The Musical" about his political life, and that number was performed with the Keating character standing close behind John Hewson and running his hands up and down, about two inches from his body. Brought the house down!
And the night we went, PJK himself was in the audience, and the reception he got was like a rock star - I've never seen anything like it for a politician.
