He also happens to be an Abbott.

Texans aren't as well educated as Aussies are. Their Abbott will likely be elected.

At least you guys have a chance to escape yours.

There's a remarkable physical likeness, and I think the character's on a par as well.

But too many people have checked their brains in at the door, and I fear the worst.

...but A) no one among my friends or family is eligible to vote in Australia and B) a few of them are still active supporters of the Republican Party. One is even a tea party type. America didn't invent stupidity but at times I think we're perfecting it.

In any event, good luck to you Aussies. May sanity rain down.
