What Wyoming needs is deeper reform, like enabling ballot initiatives for amendments, which are effectively blocked by the energy industry and the "Freedom Caucus". Pretty much ANY ballot initiative here is doomed to failure.

It might have an impact, though.

I've been thinking we could push for a Veto Referendum to repeal the law prohibiting us from mounting ballot initiatives for state constitutional amendments.

EDIT: Forget it. The game is rigged in WY. Article 3, Section 52 of the Wyoming Constitution was added in 1968, way beyond the 90 days after the end of the legislative session in which the legislation was enacted that the law provides for a Veto Referendum to be mounted.

Wyoming Dems need to Get Smart.

If we organized, we could pay attention to legislation, and become a tiresome bee in the bonnet by gathering the pathetically few signatures we would need to pose a legitimate political threat to the state legislature.

4. Mr Dejoy is suffering from delusions of grandeur

Ask the union carriers if they can see an end in sight to the current level of service. They're the people who are where the rubber and shoe leather meet the roads and sidewalks. Mr Dejoy's ideas may work with parcel shipping where prompt service isn't as important as lower costs. The thing is that his experience with XPO isn't what applies well to the USPS. Everybody can be reached by a letter carrier or rural route carrier six days a week so they expect service, not excuses or promises of better days ahead.
