What you need to know to vote in Madison and Dane County in 2025
Yes, 2025 is an election year in Wisconsin. And as it turns out, voters will again face big decisions locally and statewide.
That starts soon with primary elections for state superintendent of public instruction, Madison City Council and other races. Primary Election Day is Feb. 18, but absentee voting begins as soon as municipal clerks have ballots available, and they must be mailed no later than Jan. 28 to voters who requested them by that date.
