Bon Iver, Baldwin to join Harris tomorrow; Vance also headed to Eau Claire

Indie folk band Bon Iver and U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin will be in Eau Claire tomorrow for Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally featuring her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Meanwhile, GOP vice presidential nominee JD Vance will be in the western Wisconsin city to speak with reporters as part of Donald Trump’s effort to counterprogram this week’s campaign swing for Harris and Walz. Vance will make stops in the same states on the same days that Harris and her running mate will be there throughout this week.

Harris kicks off the tour today in Philadelphia. It will be her sixth visit to Wisconsin of 2024 and the second since she was endorsed by Biden to be the party’s standard-bearer. It will be Vance’s first campaign stop in the state since appearing at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where he was introduced as Trump’s running mate.

And it will be the second straight Harris rally in the state that Baldwin will attend. She also helped introduce Harris at a Milwaukee-area event shortly after Biden dropped out of the race.
