Another child released from Children's Wisconsin, leaving eight hospitalized after Waukesha Christmas parade

There was more good news from Children's Wisconsin.

On Saturday, a child injured in the Waukesha Christmas Parade was released, lowering the number still in the hospital from the incident to eight. The hospital had announced on Friday that another child was able to go home on Thanksgiving.

Of those that remain, four are in serious condition, two in fair condition, and two in good condition, according to a 3 p.m. update from Tami Hughes, Senior External Communications Specialist.

The Children's Wisconsin Mental and Behavioral Health Helpline is providing parents and children with support following the tragedy. The hospital said those struggling with trauma can call 414-266-6500.
