Where is the Best place to live in WI.

For us: Along the Wisconsin River.

1. Stockholm or Maiden Rock.

Very scenic little towns along the Mississippi. Door County is nice, too, but tends to be overrun with tourists in the summer.

4. You can sail anywhere in the world from Great Lakes.

WI has more Lakes than MN.

So much fresh water.

5. We used to sail on Superior out of Bayfield,

first learned to sail on Sturgeon Bay. WI has some great sailing; too bad its politics have sucked lately.

7. I like it here in Sheboygan.

Halfway between Green Bay and Milwaukee, and just a decent place to live.

8. Yes it is. Senior skip day in Fond du Lac we would go to Sheboygan to Lake Michigan.

9. Don't know about living but

my favorite place to visit used to be Madeline Island. Been there 4 times, back in the 90s, and always had the best time. Tom's Burned Down Cafe. What fun.

I wanted to retire in WI because it is very beautiful but then the Repugs took over and made me vow to never set foot there again. I am kind of starting to rethink that, though. Since the ratfuckers are everywhere now.

It’s the State legislature so gerrymandered that it’s hard to win locally.

11. It's been a long time since I lived there,

but I always loved the East Side of Milwaukee, near the lake. I'm sure it's changed a lot, but some of my best times were spent there.
