Documentary "Slay the Dragon: End Gerrymandering or Democracy Dies"

Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition and others have sponsored a free on demand streaming of "Slay the Dragon" at anytime between Sunday, May 24th thru Friday, May 29th for Wisconsin residents.

It is a detailed look at gerrymandering as practiced by both political parties. It examines the coordinated attack on several states in 2010 by the Republicans to control the last redistricting done in 2011. The Wisconsin redistricting process is thoroughly explored and is fascinating to see. What Michigan did to replace their gerrymandered districts is examined as well.

The trailer can be viewed at the following link:

The "Next" button on that page takes one to the registration page to receive a link for the viewing prior to next week. The streaming service needs to have an idea of the demand.

The goal is to educate as many people as possible on the issue and increase support for Fair Maps this time. It will be ten years before we have another chance after the next census.
