That missing girl in Barron county with the murdered parents

1. Nobody seems to know. It's been getting a lot of coverage here (Twin Cities),

but if the police have any leads they're not telling. It's all very disturbing.

911 call from moms phone yelling and screaming
Neighbor heard 2 shots
Cops there in 4 mins

4. The new part for me was that the door was kicked in. Makes it look

like an intruder.

At first some people (not me) thought the girl had something to do with it.
4 mins to get there. Not much traffic out in the country at that time of night. The cops might have driven right by the culprit
On the hunting forums, they guys god bless them, are like: look for this gal on your trail cams
I think she was abducted by someone the family knew
If only there was more info on the 911 call, a name or anything

2. All they can do now is try to find her and the person who shot her parents.

And that's what they are doing.

There was a possible sighting of her in Florida, but that turned out to be bogus.

I get the impression they know more than they are letting out. Of course they are looking for her, the weapon and the culprit. but I feel as if they are looking for something that is missing from the house perhaps

the cops were specific about a couple of things: she was there when it happened, and she was alive after it happened.

the bad guys had only 4 minutes to get away. they must have known 911 was called because of the phone and perhaps the pinged back call. they had to bundle the girl out in a hurry

6. Now they are asking for 2,000 searchers and

any security or trail camera video along Hwy 8 from Barron to Almena

why that stretch of road and that direction? who knows

it sounds like they are looking for something missing from the house besides the girl or the weapon

I wonder if they were able to determine what clothes she was wearing or if she had warm clothes

The case interests me 'cuz I grew up near there way back when

they expanded the search based on tips received of 1200 tips 1000 were closed out. that means 200 were helpful?
they are looking for 2 vehicles of interest which tells me they have witnesses to something
they are searching near the home today with 2000 volunteers. I get the impression they are looking for clues more than a gun or body, something from the home with fingerprints on it perhaps
the sheriff held a meeting with residents that was closed to the press, to reassure them maybe?
