Bed Bath & Beyond will make return to Puget Sound area after 3-year absence
Bed Bath and Beyond Inc. (NYSE: BBBY) is making a local comeback, sort of.
The home goods retailer will return as a co-branded concept with The Container Store at Bellevue's Lincoln Square as part of a nationwide effort to reestablish a physical presence after Bed Bath & Beyond's Chapter 11 bankruptcy and subsequent sale of its intellectual property.
No opening date has been announced.
The Bellevue location is among 98 stores nationwide slated for the co-branded format, which will roll out in phases. A Container Store at Southcenter mall in Tukwila was previously identified for the concept, though an opening timeline there has also not been set.
