T-Mobile lays off hundreds of Washington workers amid 'changing business needs'

T-Mobile US Inc. (Nasdaq: TMUS) is laying off 393 employees in Washington, the wireless company said in a state filing Monday.

T-Mobile attributed the cuts to “changing business needs,” according to its Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification. The layoffs are in addition to the 131 people the company cut in August.

The latest separations are scheduled to begin April 2.

“Being the Un-carrier has always meant growing in ways that fuel broader products and services, deepen connections with our customers and enable us to respond even faster to a dynamic market,” T-Mobile wrote in a statement.
