Lynnwood High put on lockdown after student arrested with gun
LYNNWOOD — Lynnwood High School was on lockdown Wednesday morning after a student, 16, reportedly pulled out a gun during a road rage incident and then pulled into the school parking lot, police said.
Just before 7:30 a.m., a witness reported the girl pulled out the gun while driving on North Road, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The witness told police the teen drove into the school parking lot.
Deputies responded and took the student into custody. They found parts of an assault rifle on the floor of the car, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators impounded the teen’s car and backpack. On Wednesday morning, they were waiting for a judge to approve a search warrant.
