Defend Washington launches television ad introducing voters to Brian Heywood & urging NO votes on all of his initiatives

The coalition working to protect Washington State from a set of bad ballot measures primarily sponsored by Washington State Republican Party Chair Jim Walsh and primarily funded by multimillionaire donor Brian Heywood today launched a television ad introducing Heywood to Washington voters and urging them to reject all four of the schemes he and Walsh are hawking — Initiatives 2066, 2109, 2117, and 2124.

The spot, “The Millionaire from California,” is Defend Washington’s opening salvo in the homestretch of the autumn campaign. The coalition consists of dozens of organizations, NPI included, that are working for the defeat of Heywood and Walsh’s slate, which Heywood and Walsh have dubbed “Let’s Go Washington.”

Transcript:

There are a lot of misleading initiatives on the ballot this year… and all of them were put there by this guy, a millionaire hedge fund manager who moved here from California.
