Hilary Franz, Emily Randall launch television ads in WA-06
The two leading Democratic candidates in Washington’s 6th Congressional District are going up on the airwaves to make their case to voters.
Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz and State Senator Emily Randall both released television spots this week designed to introduce themselves to voters. The ads are expected to remain up through the Top Two election on August 6th.
Only one of the two is likely to advance because the Republican vote is expected to be largely unified behind Republican State Senator Drew MacEwen.
Franz has raised more money than Randall, but Randall has scored some major endorsements, including from U.S. Senator Patty Murray and former Governor Chris Gregoire. Randall also has the endorsement of the Washington State Labor Council, though Franz has many individual labor union endorsements.
