Remember there are states where a gay couple with good jobs and a great social presence are not allowed to even step into an orphanage, much less arrange an adoption with a parent who desires a good life for their unborn child. But, this lady was unchecked. That boy died because we as a society refuse to accept that the outdated ideas about 'traditional families' are a hinderance to helping said society be robust and viable. They are just tools that oppressors use to maintain control. And, in some cases, we let them do it because of 'tradition'.
