Sea-Tac Airport to launch reserved parking system
Travelers will soon be able to reserve parking spots ahead of time at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the airport announced Wednesday.
Starting March 5, airport visitors can reserve parking on the fourth floor of the airport's parking garage, "a convenient premium location with a direct connection to the terminal," per a news release.
Rates are $47 per day, with a minimum two-day reservation, though variable rates may be introduced in the future.
The garage's other floors will remain as general parking. The new program replaces a system called Pre-Booked Parking that allowed drivers to pre-pay for parking but did not guarantee a spot if the garage was full.
