I'm just worried that the city's solution to the homeless problem won't be more affordable housing, but just a cheap, brusque "move along".
I'm worried that a lot of homeless people are going to suffer because of this.

We have initiated a huge increase in low-income housing construction. In the neighborhoods where it is needed most. It's not a panacea. But far fewer people will be suffering on the streets as a result.

(32,865 posts)5. I saw on KING5 tonite that there are 18,000 hotel rooms in downtown Seattle.
So the overwhelming need for hotel rooms is going to impact the whole region. I think it's going to be a zoo.
