Pike Place Market and Rachel the Bronze Pig

I am reading a mystery book - Assault and Pepper - that takes place around Pike Place market and the details are quite entertaining. Including patting Rachel the bronze pig on the ham.

There are also other ares that are described, wealthy neighborhoods and a ferry from Pier 52.

Really leaves one with an interest to visit.

I was there a few months back for the first time in years upon years. I was impressed with Seattle's vibrancy and all of the activity going on downtown. Although the city is a favorite target of conservatives, I didn't see much to support their attacks. Pike Place Market is definitely a highlight.
