City of Issaquah says stay home if possible as I-90 lane closures begin

The first of several multi-day lane closures on Interstate 90 in Issaquah, which will occur over the next two months, will start Monday morning.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says it will be working on bridge and pothole repairs in westbound lanes, east of the city.

Monday’s work will focus on bridges between the Preston Interchange at Southeast 82nd Street and Highlands Drive. From Monday at 10 a.m. to Wednesday at 6 p.m. the interstate will be down to one lane at this stretch.

The city of Issaquah recommends preparing extra time and staying home if possible.
