Virginia election officials seeing a lot of interest in early voting this year
Voter registration officials in Virginia are anticipating a lot of interest in early voting this year.
Early voting starts Friday in Virginian and continues until Nov. 2. In Tazewell County, a number of voters have already inquired about the start of early voting, county registrar Brian Earls said Monday.
Earls said he is expecting a lot of voters to take advantage of early voting.
“Very much so,” Earls said. “In fact, I’m hoping everyone who has asked when they can start (early voting) doesn’t show up on Friday. But we will be ready if a lot of people show up.”
