Related: About this forumMurderer James Fields is getting in trouble in prison
Just a week ago I posted Feds seek to seize funds from white supremacist convicted in deadly Charlottesville car attack about Fields.
Fields accused of 'misconduct' in prison
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (CBS19 NEWS) -- An Ohio man spending life in prison on charges connected to the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville is now also in trouble in prison.
CBS News reports that James Fields is accused of a series of misconduct incidents at the federal prison where he is being housed in Springfield, Missouri.
He is accused of making threats against at least one correction officer and of wielding a dangerous weapon.
This comes from prison records and a filing from the U.S. Department of Justice.
The Bureau of Prisons says Fields has been disciplined by losing his phone and email privileges and monetary fines.
For example, in December 20920[sic], Fields was fined $250 for possessing a dangerous homemade weapon. Officials say he has not paid this fine so far.
He allegedly threatened an officer in January 2021, and there have been other incidents, such as being insolent to prison staff and refusing to appear at a hearing.

I note with disgust the phrasing, "An Ohio man spending life in prison on charges connected to the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville." He murdered Heather Heyer and maimed multiple people, some who will never recover. Why not say it?

of the toilet bowl, but I'm a little lost about how a guy in prison can miss a hearing.

What a horrible person. Sounds like this is the kind of behavior solitary confinement is made for.
