The drivers saw what was going on both at truck stops and generally suspicious activity by other truckers. UPS helped fund a nonprofit that seeks to educate law enforcement especially local departments. Many of them see these, mostly, girls just as drug addicts and a nuisance. It’s a big step for many local cops to understand that these are someone’s kid who was very likely abducted.
