A federal judge sentenced a former Dallas anesthesiologist caught on camera tampering with IV bags to 190 years in prison. His actions killed a fellow doctor and causing patients to go into cardiac arrest. NBC 5's Sophia Beausoleil spoke to the widow of one of the victims.

Why would someone do this? What would they have to gain? Anyone know?

2. I remember some years back, somewhere around Kansas City, ...

... there was an anesthesiologist who was skimping on the drugs and pocketing the savings. Maybe that was this fellow's motive? I'm only theorizing and can't give any more details about the Kansas City case because that's all I remember. As I said, it was some years back.

4. The case you're remembering involved a pharmacist

He formulated drugs and skimped on the active ingredients so chemotherapy medication for cancer patients was ineffective. His pharmacy was in the hospital where I worked. His father was a conservative Christian pastor. Sonny Boy donated a million dollars to daddy's church. Daddy didn't want to give up the money but he finally did under pressure.
