I have known Congresswoman Lee for a long time. My oldest and her son were in middle school together. I have run into her at meetings and events a good number of times over the years including at fundraising events.

1. That is awful news

My prayers are for her to be healed of the cancer, and given the strength to continue on, in order for her to continue to do what she loves being of service as a congress person. She's such a champion for her constituents and for all Americans. We need more like her, doing the real work, of a true legislator. She's brilliant.
