Harris County had a tornado warning (which has expired)

We had a very fast moving line of storms move through and I was under tornado warning for a good hour. My kis are at Disney World but my son texted me that his home generator is running. There were some 107 mile straight line winds and there are power lines down. One highway is shut down with a tower for high tension power lines knocked down with power lines going across the highway. The power for these lines are out and tv is covering people cutting and removing the lines

I have power but a ton of people are without

My kids sent me this picture of a downtown hotel

I had to drug my dog but otherwise no issues other than a ton of water in the back yard. I saw some blue sky to the west

Texas has fun weather at times

in the suburbs ... lots of rain but that's it. We were lucky. My husband works downtown, lots of damage to various skyscrapers. I just saw that HISD is closed tomorrow.
